The last stages before the start of the election campaign, on Friday morning, are being completed. Yesterday, the order of the candidates on the ballots was drawn, and today is the deadline for establishing the places for the electoral display and the placement of the panels.
Under the restrictions imposed by the covid-19 epidemic, a less common election campaign is announced, but the competition is high, with elections to be held for: 41 positions of county council presidents, over 1.300 county counselors, 40.000 local counselors and about 3.200 mayor positions.
For the mayor of Bucharest position, 18 candidates enter the competition.
The election campaign will begin on August 28 and end on September 26, at 7:00.
