Meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing” after the Trump-Putin meeting

President Nicusor Dan will participate, on Sunday, in the Coalition of the Willing meeting for Ukraine, which will discuss the latest developments after the Alaska summit.
On Saturday evening, the head of state said, in a message on the X network, that a just and lasting peace must take into account the interests of Ukraine and Europeans.
“Our position has remained unchanged in support of Ukraine and the principles related to sovereignty and territorial integrity, and international borders must not be changed by force”, the president also emphasized.
On Saturday, several European leaders called for “unwavering security guarantees for Ukraine to effectively defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
They insist that Russia cannot have a veto right over Ukraine’s path to the European Union and NATO.
Today's coalition talks come as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is invited to Washington on Monday for talks on Moscow's proposals for a peace deal.
Trump has also invited European leaders to the talks, but it is not officially known which of them will make it to the White House.
