Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan calls on ministries to ensure implementation of commitments made under the NRRP

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan has called on ministries coordinating reforms and investments to accelerate the pace of work and take measures to overcome potential bottlenecks, so that Romania’s commitments under the NRRP can be implemented by August 31.
The head of the executive also called for no more delays in paying invoices for work carried out under projects. The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragos Pislaru, also believes that for a better absorption of the NRRP funds, which currently exceed 10 billion euros, a more intense pace is needed in the next six months.
Romania is to submit to the European Commission Payment Requests 5 and 6 of the allocated recovery amounts, recalls RRA editor Petruta Obrejan.
