Ilie Bolojan to discuss next week with EC President about the status of the NRRP

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will discuss, next week, with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, about the status of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The Prime Minister announced that during his visit to Brussels, on Thursday, February 26, he will also present the priorities of the Romanian Government regarding the future Multiannual Financial Framework post-2028, currently under negotiation, with an emphasis on cohesion policy, agricultural policy and the competitiveness component.
The objective, the executive sends in a statement, is the efficient use of European resources for investment projects that stimulate economic growth in Romania.
On the same day, Ilie Bolojan is also scheduled to meet with the Executive Vice-President of the Commission, Roxana Minzatu, and to participate in the launch event of the communication on the Eastern Border Regions, together with his counterparts from the Baltic countries, the head of the European Commission and the president of the European Investment Bank.
The event will conclude with the signing of the declaration of intent on the establishment of the EastInvest facility, a financing mechanism dedicated to the Eastern Border Regions.
