Radio Romania News attracts the highest number of listeners in Bucharest and has the highest market share nationally, urban, rural and in Bucharest

According to the most recent study published by the Association for Radio Audience (ARA) - autumn wave 2023, Radio Romania News is the market leader in Bucharest, both in terms of Market Share (14.2%) and number of listeners (188.800 people).
The audience of Radio Romania stations (Radio România News, Radio România Cultural, Radio Romania Musical, Radio Romania Antena Satelor and Reteaua Studiourilor Regionale) totals 3.090.700 listeners daily, with SRR stations occupying 23% of total listening time at national level, which places the Romanian Broadcasting Company at the top of listeners' preferences.

For 95 years, the public radio station has remained a trusted pillar in delivering essential information and cultural programmes to its listeners.
The autumn wave of the Radio Audience Survey was conducted between 28 August and 17 December 2023 by IMAS - MARKETING AND POLLING and MERCURY RESEARCH.
The research measured the audience of radio stations at national level, urban, rural and in the municipality of Bucharest, on a sample of 10.165 people.
The measurement of the audience of radio stations within the SAR was carried out using the Day After Recall method, which is used by most of the existing measurement systems internationally, a methodology recommended by EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and ESOMAR (European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research).
