Romania and France reconfirm strategic partnership

During a telephone conversation on Friday, Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barot reconfirmed the bilateral strategic partnership and discussed areas of common interest, as well as recent developments at international level.

According to a post on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Facebook page, the discussions also focused on defense and the implementation of the decisions adopted at the NATO summit in The Hague, as well as trade, investment, and cultural cooperation.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to common values and to a stronger and more united Europe.
