The Ministry of Labor is submitting for public debate a draft amendment to the Law on the unemployment insurance system, which provides, among other things, bonuses for young people entering the labor market for the first time, subsidies for mothers with three children, and subsidies for victims of human trafficking.
Minister Florin Manole says that the draft includes 18 measures.
The first measure, which will be granted to young people, would be paid for two years from the date of employment, amounting to 1.000 lei per month in the first year and 1.250 lei per month in the second year.
For people at risk, employers would receive a subsidy of 2.250 lei per month for a certain period, and in the case of mothers with three children, the same subsidy would be granted for one year.
The Ministry of Labor believes that these measures also support employers who are facing a labor shortage and difficulties in attracting stable staff, especially in disadvantaged areas.
