Authorities, messages on the occasion of Hungarians Everywhere Day

President Nicusor Dan sent a message on Sunday, March 15, on Hungarians Everywhere Day.
"It is a special holiday of our fellow citizens who celebrate belonging to a common space of history, language, traditions and culture", the head of state said.
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan also sent a message of respect and appreciation to the Hungarian community in Romania, which he considers an important part of society and a contributor to the country's development.
In the message sent on Sunday, on Hungarians Everywhere Day, the government reaffirms its commitment to respecting the rights and identity of all ethnic communities and to strengthening trust between citizens.
Also, Foreign Minister Oana Toiu emphasizes in a similar message that ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity represents one of the great values of Romanian society.
In Targu Secuiesc, events dedicated to this day took place, in which the President of Hungary, Sulyok Tamas, also participated.
He took part in the traditional parade organized on this occasion and greeted the crowd from an allegorical float, after which he gave a speech focused mainly on the unity of Hungarians and the desire for peace - RRA correspondent Oana Negrea reports.
