Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will arrive in Romania on Thursday for an official visit, where he will hold high-level consultations in the context of the recent four-year anniversary of Russia's aggression against his country.
Alina Stanuta provides details: "From the first days of Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine, Romania has offered multidimensional support to this country and is currently contributing to international efforts for a just and lasting peace, accompanied by solid security guarantees for Ukraine.
According to the Presidential Administration, the agenda of tomorrow's talks between the President of Romania, Nicusor Dan, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will include topics that will facilitate the consolidation of a comprehensive, constructive and future-oriented bilateral relationship. The discussions will focus on the development of political dialogue, the intensification of economic cooperation or sectoral cooperation in areas such as energy and defense industries.
The two heads of state will also exchange views on current issues, such as the European Union enlargement process, the transatlantic relationship and the latest developments at regional and global levels. During tomorrow's meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, the President of Romania will also refer to the need to advance bilateral dialogue in the field of respecting the rights of persons belonging to the Romanian minority in Ukraine, including the right to education in their mother tongue.”
