President Nicusor Dan says that the state must regain the trust of its citizens

President Nicusor Dan emphasized the importance of the work carried out by the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the safety of citizens.

He said that the Romanian state must improve its relationship with Romanians and regain their trust.

During the gala celebrating the 163rd anniversary of the ministry's establishment, the president also addressed the issue of domestic violence.

"We must succeed, and when I say 'we' I mean the Ministry of Internal Affairs, I mean the public prosecutor's offices, I mean the courts, in conveying to society that the Romanian state is a strong one and send a message to those former partners who are thinking of threatening their ex-partners that the Romanian state will quickly take action against them if they dare to do so", said Nicusor Dan.
