Romanian President Nicusor Dan will meet NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Thursday, March 19, at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Alliance.
The agenda of the discussions includes international security developments and the situation on the eastern flank, with a focus on the Black Sea region.
Measures to strengthen deterrence and collective defense, as well as to increase Romania's security through and with NATO support, will be analyzed.
The head of state will reaffirm commitments to increase defense spending and support for Ukraine, also emphasizing the need to support the Republic of Moldova in the face of hybrid threats.
