RADIO ROMANIA NEWS (October 21) - Author: One of the most advanced gas supply projects in Buzau county is in the stage of connecting households. The Maracineni gas pipeline will be expanded to eventually supply more than 15.000 households in the Slanicului Valley.
Reporter: The gas pipeline from Maracineni will be finished installing, including the measuring station and the regulation of the natural gas pressure, in the middle of December, during this period the individual connections at property level will be made.
Traian Popa, the general director of the construction company: The work, being very large, we started from a certain size of the investment, from 38 km and we reached 52. The branches must also be collected, which are also pipes. Together, they cover more than 75 km.
Reporter: Project written for 34 years by the Maracineni community, the gas pipeline can supply the communes of Valea Slanicului from 2024. We note, therefore, that at least 20.000 inhabitants of seven communes located upstream of Maracine, in the Slanicului de Buzau Valley, can consider supplying natural gas.
