Norway contributes to the purchase of a Patriot system for Romania

Norway is contributing 127 million dollars to the purchase of a Patriot system for Romania, Defense Minister Angel Tilvar announced.

This financial contribution is part of the Immediate Action Initiative for Air Defense, coordinated by Germany, and will enable Romania to strengthen the security and defense of the Euro-Atlantic area by renewing and expanding its air defense capabilities.

As a reminder, Romania recently donated a Patriot system to Ukraine.
