The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched the mobile application RoCEIReader

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the mobile application that reads the residence data from the new electronic identity card is available today.

It is RoCEIReader, a modern and secure digital tool that allows the quick reading of the data available in the new document, including the residence address stored in the chip.

According to a press release, the application is available for free on Google Play and, soon, on the App Store.

Public authorities and private institutions can use the application to quickly verify the residence address, as well as citizens, including when they need proof of residence.
