RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The Ministry of Defence has extended until March 8 the application period for the more than 5.000 posts for professional soldiers and ranks available in all counties of the country and in the capital. Medical examinations will take place until 22 March and the final deadline for candidates' applications is 3 April. Details of the professional offer, conditions of recruitment, selection and assignment can be obtained from the military units for which candidates are applying or from the Information-Recruitment Office in their locality of residence. During this period, enrolment for military secondary education for the 2024-2025 school year will also take place. There are 816 places available, distributed in the five national military colleges "Dimitie Cantemir" in Breaza, "Stefan cel Mare" in Campulung Moldovenesc, "Mihai Viteazul" in Alba Iulia, "Tudor Vladimirescu" in Craiova and "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" in Constanta.
