The Government approved two normative acts regarding the implementation of the National Plan to Prevent and Combat Cancer in Romania.
The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, explained that the new provisions favor quick access of patients to preventive measures, diagnosis and treatment, but also to palliative services.
He said that investments will be made in the field of oncology, and the services that patients will benefit from will be fully settled.
The government will also develop a special fund that will allow access to the latest generation drugs for oncology patients, Alexandru Rafila also said.
