The draft budget for 2025 was adopted on Saturday by the government and is one without changes in taxes and duties, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said at the opening of the meeting.
According to him, it is a development budget, which comes with 150 billion lei for investments, an increase of 30 billion compared to last year.
The state's operating costs will also be reduced by 0.5 percentage points, personnel costs will be adjusted, as well as goods and services.
The state budget law and the social insurance law have been sent to the parliament under emergency procedure, which will start debating them next week, when the new session of the legislature begins.
