Tens of thousands of believers attend the consecration service of the National Cathedral painting

Tens of thousands of believers are currently attending the consecration service of the National Cathedral painting in the capital.

Inside the building are the 2.500 official guests, and on the esplanade in front of the Cathedral are the organized groups of pilgrims from the country's dioceses, that is, over 8.000 people.

Most believers watch the service from the space located outside the complex, on specially installed screens.

- It is the church of our people, for everything our ancestors did for our country, and it will remain for eternity.
- The cathedral is built like a ship, which we hope will lead the Romanian people to salvation, and it is a dream come true.
- It is the most beautiful in the world.

After the service, access for the faithful to worship at the Holy Altar will be organized, starting with official guests from inside the Cathedral and continuing with organized groups from the dioceses.

Those from outside will have access to the worship line after 8:00 p.m.

Pilgrims will be able to worship at the Holy Altar of the National Cathedral in the following days as well, including at night. The Holy Place will be open day and night until the last day of October.
