Saber Guardian 2025 military exercise

The Saber Guardian 2025 military exercise continues in Romania.
Approximately 10.000 military personnel from NATO member states and partner countries are participating.
In Suraia, Vrancea County, military personnel from the Republic of Moldova, the United States, and Romania, with 385 technical means, are conducting an exercise to cross the Siret River, based on a fictional scenario.
A similar training exercise took place this morning on the Old Danube in Tulcea County, and the Chief of Defense Staff, General Gheorghita Vlad, stated:
Gheorghita Vlad: In Romania, you know very well that the river network is very dense. For national defense, it is absolutely necessary to develop these capabilities, to train our military in operating the systems and, of course, in the case of this exercise, to achieve interoperability between our soldiers.
Approximately 700 soldiers participated in the exercise on the Macin branch of the Danube.
