Romanian Christians pay tribute to Pope Francis

Christians in Romania, regardless of denomination, pay homage to His Holiness Pope Francis.
In Resita, two exhibitions and an occasional philatelic stamp will mark this historic moment in a sombre but relevant way.
Resita pays its own tribute to His Holiness Pope Francis.
More than 30 volumes in various languages signed by Pope Francis during his lifetime are on display at the Alexander Tietz German Library until Monday, as well as a valuable philatelic exhibition.
Erwin Tigla, the host of these exhibitions: Resita, in addition to organising these two exhibitions, has also produced an occasional stamp, through the Romanian Philatelic Federation and with the approval of the Romanian Post Office. All mail leaving the Resita 1 post office on Monday will be postmarked with this stamp. This is the tribute to the great personality of Pope Francis.
Pope Francis passed away on Easter Monday.
