Romania at the World Tourism Fair in Paris

The World Tourism Fair kicked off in Paris on Thursday, offering more than 500 tourist destinations around the world, from luxury vacations and cruises to nature outings and spa stays.

Romania is also present, promoting its most beautiful regions, as stand coordinator Mihaela Mihet, a marketing adviser at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, told RRA correspondent Daniela Coman:

Mihaela Mihet: Our objective is to bring as many French tourists as possible to Romania, and our stand is near the main entrance. It has a high logo, very well lit, it's visible from any part of the fair, so that no matter which entrance or alleyway tourists come through, they can come to the Romanian stand. There are tastings of traditional products and egg-laying. The stand is /.../ attractive, cheerful, we have a lot of visitors; since this morning I have not stopped explaining and answering questions. We are present at the Paris World Tourism Fair up to and including Sunday, March 16.
