PSD supports the proposal of the Minister of Finance regarding a new system of taxation of profits repatriated by multinationals

The Social Democratic Party supports the proposal of the Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, regarding a new system of taxation of profits repatriated by multinationals. The interim president of the party, Sorin Grindeanu, warns, however, that additional measures are needed to reduce tax optimizations, so that austerity does not affect only vulnerable people and the middle class.

He claims that during the discussions with the Minister of Finance, it was agreed to carry out impact analyses regarding the overtaxation of large fortunes, increased taxation of speculative and cryptocurrency gains, increasing fines for undeclared work and shortening insolvency terms for companies.
