RADIO ROMANIA NEWS (December 29, 4:02 p.m.) - Producer: Mihaela Mihai - Employees of the Mures Public Health Directorate have been protesting for almost a month, demanding salary increases similar to those granted to colleagues from Health Insurance Companies. People will continue to protest daily, covering only emergencies, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., until their claims are resolved, Stela Sabau, the representative of the "Force of the Law" National Union, told Radio Romania Targu-Mures.
Stela Sabau: We want to be assimilated with the Health Insurance House. Discrimination was created by the fact that in November those from the Insurance House had their salaries increased, while we from the PHD remained with the same salaries. Mr. Prime Minister Ciolacu said that he will also introduce us. When it will appear in the Official Gazette, only then will we stop protesting.
Producer: The trade unionists of the SANITAS Federation are also threatening to start a collective labor conflict, dissatisfied that only civil servants from the Public Health Directorates will receive salary increases.
