Justice Minister Alina Gorghiu announced that another fugitive has been brought into the country from the UK.

He is Florin Oprea, nicknamed "Duck", who has been sentenced to prison for pimping and money laundering, according to Alina Gorghiu.

Alina Gorghiu: Duck is Florin Oprea's nickname. He is serving 5 years and 4 months in prison for pimping and money laundering. More than 860.000 lei obtained from illegal activities have been confiscated from him and part of this amount will go to the victims of the crimes. We, at the Ministry of Justice, still have 299 vouchers, each worth a maximum of 18.500 lei for these victims of crime. That is why I think it is very important to talk about recovering the damage as much as punishing the offender.

In order to receive financial compensation it is necessary for the victim to apply to the court.
