Hospital inspections following complaints about patient meals

Starting this week, the Minister of Health will begin visiting hospitals where patients or their relatives have complained about the food served during hospitalization.
In a Facebook post, the minister said that over 200 complaints had been filed, with pictures sent by patients, and that while some showed that medical facilities were functioning properly, others showed contempt for people.
Alexandru Rogobete also said that he will publicly present what is happening in each place — both good and bad — and that anyone who is unable to show common sense has no place in a public hospital management position.
The minister also mentioned that he had recently visited a public hospital in Romania where he saw what respect for patients means — properly cooked food, cleanliness, a dignified attitude, and medical excellence.
