Capital budget approved by the General Council

The capital's budget for this year was approved on Thursday evening by the General Council of Bucharest.

Amendments proposed by the capital's mayor, Nicusor Dan, and representatives of political groups in the council were accepted.

According to the amendment backed by the general mayor for the continuation of the social housing block in Prelungirea Ghencea, commitment appropriations of 89 million lei and budget appropriations of 64 million lei are proposed.

Also, the budget of the Administration of Lakes, Parks and Recreation in Bucharest has been increased by 10 million lei to strengthen the shore of Lake Herastrau.

The investment budget has also been increased by 5.8 million lei to strengthen the Lujerului and Bucur Obor overpasses and the Baneasa bridge.
