Bill in Parliament: social platforms forced to quickly delete illegal posts

A bill has recently been tabled in Parliament that would force social media platforms to quickly delete illegal posts.
Posts that spread false information or incite hatred will also be banned from mass promotion and sponsorship.
The proposed legislation also provides for penalties of up to 1% of turnover if these rules are broken.
They will be enforced by the National Authority for Communications Administration and Regulation.
