Anti-drug campaign on the coast continues

Many young people gather during this period at festivals and other events that take place on the seaside, where there is an increased risk of drug use.

For this reason, police officers are continuing the anti-drug campaign on the seaside, organizing actions to raise awareness of the dangers of these substances.

The head of the County Anti-Drug Center, Daniel Gheorghe, explained to Radio Romania Constanta how important it is for parents to be actively involved in their children's education, in order to avoid their interaction with a harmful entourage.

Daniel Gheorghe: Essential elements in the upbringing and education of a child are love, attention and affection. As long as these basic elements are lacking in a family, in a parent-child relationship, the child will seek appreciation, recognition, validation, usually in an entourage. Unfortunately, it is often the case that the entourage is not one with a healthy lifestyle and that there is excessive alcohol and even drug consumption. That is why we always encourage healthy living alternatives, we want them to achieve certain results in school, we want them to learn to play a musical instrument, to practice a sport. These are all very healthy alternatives to avoid spending leisure time in a harmful way.
