9.739 new cases of COVID-19

9.739 cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been registered in the first 24 hours since the last report, following the performance of 35.575 tests at national level, informs, on Wednesday, the Strategic Communication Group. These cases have not previously had a positive test.
As of Wednesday, 440.344 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus were confirmed in Romania, 313.885 people being declared healed.
To date, 3.974.996 tests have been processed at national level. Of these, 35.575 were performed since the last covid update, 22.524 based on medical protocol and 13.051 upon request.
