The skiing season in Poiana Brasov opens on Friday, December 24. Winter sports enthusiasts can use all the slopes in the upper area of the Postavaru massif and the two slopes for beginners.
The Red Road will also be arranged in the lower area, so that skiers will be able to descend to the lower station of the gondola. The gondola, chairlift and ski lifts will operate. Attempts will also be made to arrange the junction between the Red Road, under the cable car, to the Bradul slope.
According to Brasov City Hall, the condition of the slopes is very good, the snow layer being 100 cm in the upper part, and 60 to 70 cm in the lower part.
