Reporter: Andrei Serban - Coalition leaders discussed the continuation of funding for projects in the “Anghel Saligny” program and the second package of measures to reduce the budget deficit.
Political sources have stated that for the projects in the “Anghel Saligny” program, one option is to see if there is enough money in the next budget adjustment to continue investments in the construction and rehabilitation of sewer, water, and natural gas networks in villages and cities.
Regarding the second package of measures to reduce the deficit and budget expenditure, political sources say that it could be adopted by the government after the budget adjustment.
This package refers to new retirement conditions for magistrates, amends the Insolvency Law, taxes capital and capital transfers, and reforms state-owned companies.
Political sources also claim that another decision by coalition leaders was that any government bill will be discussed within the coalition and then announced publicly.
