The Monica Lovinescu Gala will take place at the Romanian Athenaeum in the capital

At the Romanian Athenaeum in the Capital, this evening, from 19:00, the Monica Lovinescu Gala will take place, an event marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of the literary critic and journalist who became one of the great voices of the Romanian cultural exile during communist.
On stage, the public will be able to watch a dialogue between Gabriel Liiceanu and Horia-Roman Patapievici, followed by the awarding of the Monica Lovinescu award.
An illustrated biographical album will also be released.
The event will be broadcast live by Radio Romania Cultural.
