The legality of granting emergency financial aid will be investigated

On Monday, July 28, at the request of Minister Florin Manole, the Control Body of the Ministry of Labor will launch an investigation into the emergency aid granted to employees of the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection.
The general director of the institution has been summoned to provide explanations on this matter.
In a post on his Facebook page, Florin Manole writes that any deviation from the law or regulations in force will be punished quickly and severely.
The move comes after a press investigation based on information from a whistleblower and official documents showing that dozens of agency employees received, between 2017 and 2025, emergency aid of over 185.000 lei from the institution where they work, and there are doubts about the impartiality of how these sums were distributed.
