The protests of teachers who gathered in front of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday continue.
Hundreds of employees came from all over the country to express their dissatisfaction with the meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, which ended without any result.
The unionists continue to demand the elimination of fiscal-budgetary measures that will affect, in their opinion, the education system. RRA reporter Alex Avram spoke with several protesters.
-: It is the tenth day and there will probably be many more dozens of days of protests. Our demand is simple – the repeal of this law that came to cut like a chainsaw. It cuts and cuts in our education. They don't think about anyone, children, parents, staff, they don't think about anything, only about percentages and reducing the deficit.
-: They didn't think about the students either. They will have more lessons in their program, because the teachers will have more - it is reflected in the students' schedule and we want performance from them.
Teachers say they will continue the protests every day and that they are considering boycotting the start of the school year, on September 8.
