Senate President: Motion to impeach Education Minister has no chance of success

The Senate President, Liberal Mircea Abrudean, states that the simple motion submitted by AUR to Education Minister Daniel David does not bring any solution for this field of activity and that it is just a political move, with no chance of success.
Mircea Abrudean: The coalition will function as it did with the censure motion last week. The motion itself is nothing more than a reason for further circus, it does not offer any solution. It is a political, demagogic and pointless move, from my point of view. So I do not think there will be any reason to stress.
The Senate debate and vote on the simple motion to impeach Education Minister, initiated by AUR and signed by 38 opposition senators started at 4:00 p.m.
