The National Administration "Romanian Waters" has mobilized over 6.000 people from its operational staff to monitor and intervene in areas affected by hydrological warnings.
In Brasov and Covasna counties, which have been most affected by the floods in recent days, approximately 150 employees are ready to take action.
In addition, high-capacity motor pumps from neighboring counties have been relocated to these areas.
To date, all reservoirs in the areas covered by hydrological warnings have taken in over 20 million cubic meters of water and are still ready to ensure the safe passage of the floods, according to a statement from the Administration.
