The first data on the condition of the building from specialists from the Faculty of Civil Engineering were presented at the meeting of the Municipal Emergency Committee.
Investigators say they cannot enter the affected area due to the risk of collapse, which is why they are using special equipment for analysis.
Alexandru Porosanu, National Institute of Forensic Science: Even now, we cannot enter the area directly affected by the explosion. It is very unstable, we can barely make it to the scene in the adjacent area. It will probably take a while until the experts give us access so that we can do our work there as well. However, nacelles and drones were used so that photographs could be taken and the area from the outside could be viewed.
Following the explosion on Friday in the capital, three women lost their lives, two of whom will be identified through DNA analysis.
Meanwhile, one of the minors hospitalized at the "Grigore Alexandrescu" hospital in Bucharest has gone home, the other is doing well, and the man with serious burns has arrived at a hospital in Austria.
Affected people who need information or guidance can call the phone number 021 9524.
