When reworking the special pension reform project, there must be dialogue with representatives of the justice system, claims PSD.
At Tuesday night's coalition meeting, the Social Democrats proposed creating a working group to prepare the new document now, since, according to their sources, there would be problems on the substance, not just on the form.
USR says that they should first wait for the motivation of the Constitutional Court's decision to know what changes will be necessary.
Reporter: Alina Stanuta - The working group proposed by PSD in the governing coalition comes to quickly resolve the issue of magistrates' pensions with the help of dialogue, says Social Democratic leader Sorin Grindeanu, who also explains why he left the coalition meeting.
Sorin Grindeanu: We have a justice system that must be taken as a partner at this time in order to find the right solution for eliminating these special pensions. We came up with this proposal to create this working group quickly, in which, until the communication from the Constitutional Court is received, we can come up with a form that can be resubmitted.
USR Vice President Ionut Mosteanu indicated that within the governing coalition, the discussion was that we should wait for the motivation of the Constitutional Court's decision and then decide on the form of resolving the issue regarding magistrates' pensions.
Ionut Mosteanu: The working group itself means nothing. For now, the discussion was, we should wait for the Court's motivation. After the Court's motivation comes, we have two options: we pass a law through parliament or we once again assume responsibility before Parliament.
The Constitutional Court decided that the normative act regarding magistrates' pensions for which the government assumed responsibility approximately two months ago is unconstitutional.
