PSD presented an economic recovery package on Thursday. The party's interim president, Sorin Grindeanu, said that all proposals will be presented to the prime minister and coalition colleagues and that the package will follow the classic parliamentary approval procedure with debates and votes.
Reporter Catalin Purcaru: "The national expansion of the production capacity for medicines and biosimilar molecules is the proposal of the Minister of Health Alexandru Rogobete, while the unblocking of the RABLA program for tractors is among the priorities of the Minister of Agriculture Florin Barbu.
The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, insists on reasonable prices for Black Sea gas for large Romanian companies, and the stimulation of employers to recruit young people under 26 is the proposal of the Minister of Labor, Florin Manole.
The plan for economic recovery proposed by the Social Democrats will have several assumed targets, says the interim president of PSD Sorin Grindeanu.
Sorin Grindeanu: We will have at least 25.000 young people integrated into the labor market. From our calculations, somewhere around 1.000 supported research-development-innovation projects and at least 200 new products and services appear on the market. The total amount for loans for SMEs will be, from our assessments, around 15 billion and here we are talking about guarantees.
The social-democratic leader assures that all the proposed measures have no budgetary impact and announces that they will be presented to the coalition partners to be materialized in legislative projects.”
