Poiana Brasov is one of the points of interest for the winter holidays.
Tourists stormed the area, and the occupancy rate in the resort is approaching maximum capacity, especially since the snow on the slopes is perfect for winter sports, and the Christmas fairs are waiting for their visitors.
With the slopes being open and having an excellent layer of snow, Poiana has welcomed its tourists since Christmas Eve.
The occupancy rate of approximately 90% was the result of queues and traffic jams on Prahova Valley and DN1A.
Law enforcement officers are present to streamline traffic and prevent possible problems in crowded areas of Christmas fairs or cable boarding.
The Brasov Mountain Rescue Service also announced the balance of the first official ski season day: five requests, of which four for injuries and one for a lost person.
Tourists are also reminded that both beginners' slopes, Bradul and Stadion, are open.
