Nicusor Dan: Romania can be Austria's trusted partner

President Nicusor Dan is on a two-day official visit to Austria, where he is meeting with his counterpart, Alexander Van der Bellen, and Christian Stocker, the federal chancellor.

The Romanian head of state gave a speech at the Salzburg Summit, a meeting that provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and is attended by important businesspeople, politicians, and opinion leaders from Austria and around the world.

During his visit, Nicusor Dan will also discuss the Romanian community in Austria with the country's officials.

President Nicusor Dan told industrialists that Romania can be Austria's reliable partner in its attempt to invest heavily in renewable energy. In this context, projects such as Neptune Deep become extremely important, and this initiative will contribute to ensuring energy independence and create new opportunities for regional cooperation. The president also pointed out that Romania is significantly expanding its defense industry, which offers real opportunities for companies that understand its strategic importance.

Nicusor Dan also addressed an issue that is currently of concern to many Austrian companies: the lack of skilled labor, stating that Romania has a well-trained workforce that can help fill this gap.

At the same time, the president wants to create more opportunities for Romanian companies to invest and do business in Austria.
