The budget of the Romanian National Water Administration approved on Thursday at the government meeting for next year is over 4 billion lei, an increase of 55% compared to last year.
It provides for investments in strengthening the hydrotechnical infrastructure and modernizing the national water management system.

"3.1 million lei for the feasibility study, technical design, and execution details related to securing the Praid Salt Mine, namely the execution of works to mitigate possible floods, one or two polders upstream of the mine, which will reduce the maximum flow in the future to 35 cubic meters per second. This work will be carried out in parallel with all the other works we have discussed recently", said Mircea Fechet.
Also at Thursday's meeting, the Executive adopted a series of normative acts expropriating private properties located on the construction sites of road infrastructure projects of national interest, such as the capital's ring road.
