Multinational military exercise Euro Spartan, organized by the European Defense Agency, is in progress at the Boboc Air Base in Buzău County, Romania.
200 soldiers from Slovakia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Italy and Romania attend the exercise. They will perform parachute jumps from aircraft, emergency medical evacuations and container launches in special situations.
Romania is the host of this exercise for the first time. Exercise aims to harmonize techniques and level of training of the military in the states that own such aircraft, says RRA Correspondent Cristina Moise.
