Owners of land and real estate will be able to get their land register extracts free of charge at the land registry counter from April 7 and online from June 2.

According to Development Minister Cseke Attila, the fees for cadastral plan extracts and first registration will also be abolished.

Cseke Attila: Today, if a citizen wants a land register extract for information about the real estate that is his personal property, he is charged 20-25 lei by a public institution. This system will be abolished from April 7. This service will be free of charge and in digital format from June 2, so that all real estate owners, if they request the land register extract for information, the cadastral plan extract or the first registration of real estate, will no longer be charged by the public institution.

Cseke Attila also says that the fee will continue to be paid, but by those who apply for a land register extract for real estate owned by someone else.
