Day of Distinguished Visitors of JUNCTION STRIKE 2019 Special Operations Forces Multinational Exercise will take place on Friday, 14 June, in Sângeorgiu de Mureş, Romania.
JUNCTION STRIKE 2019 (JUST 19) Special Operations Forces Exercise runs from June 3-22 and ensures organizational conditions for executing realistic training on a fictional scenario associated with hybrid war, by participating tactical special operations structures, in a multinational format and for evaluation/recertification of a capability target made available to NATO.
JUST 19 is carried out in two stages, as follows: in the first stage, training activities were carried out in the virtual environment, in simulation exercises; second stage will consist of tactical actions of SOF in the three operational environments - land, air and sea.
Over 450 soldiers, using about 100 technical means, will perform specific actions in 12 locations across Romania (Bacău, Braşov, Buzău, Cluj, Constanța, Galați, Ialomița, Mureș, Sibiu, Suceava, Tulcea and Bucharest). Along with the Romanian SOF, there will be approximately 120 foreign soldiers from allied or partner countries - Georgia, United Kingdom, Republic of Moldova, Portugal, United States of America .
