Romania is an important partner in the European Unioin, and joining the Schengen Area is a priority for the Bucharest Government - President Klaus Iohannis said in Munich, Germany, at the annual meeting of the parliamentary group of the Christian Social Union (CSU) in Budestag.
RRA Special Envoy Oana Bâlă: President Klaus Iohannis has pleaded in front of CSU group in the Budestag for cohesion and solidarity in the efforts to consolidate the European project.
Head of State also said that the EU's major goals must continue to target an undivided Europe that brings more convergence and equality with tangible results for citizens of its Member States.
