In Bucharest, the average net salary is almost 5.700 lei

Employees in the capital earn the most, with an average net salary of 5.665 lei per month.
They are followed by those in Cluj, Timis, and Sibiu, where the average is 5.000 lei and was recorded in the first half of the year, according to data from Salario, the eJobs salary comparison tool.
In terms of fields of activity, IT, engineering, oil or gas, and construction have raised the salary market and offered the highest net averages nationwide.
On the other hand, the lowest salaries are reported by employees in Mehedinti, Giurgiu, and Teleorman, all three with an average of 3.800 lei per month, and in Caras Severin and Maramures, 3.900 lei.
The fields with the most open positions in these counties are services, tourism, and the food industry. In almost all counties, however, candidates' expectations are about 30% higher than the salaries they actually receive.
