President Nicusor Dan declared on Radio Romania News that the repeated postponement of a decision on magistrates' pensions has affected the image of the state and the Constitutional Court.
Delay, unjustified
He assessed that the delay of a project that has been under debate since the summer is unjustified and that the decision should have been adopted earlier.
Different legal opinions, legitimate
The head of state emphasized, however, that different legal opinions are legitimate and that in the debates on this subject there is no bad faith on the part of any institution.
The Constitutional Court resumes, on Wednesday, the analysis on the reform of magistrates' pensions, after postponing a decision on this topic five times.
