Ilie Bolojan: It is essential that the truce between Israel and Hamas continues

Senate President Ilie Bolojan has welcomed the release of hostages following the truce between Israel and Hamas and stressed that it must continue.

Following the truce, three women, including one with Romanian-Israeli citizenship and a woman of Romanian origin, were released from captivity in Gaza, he wrote on the Senate's Facebook page.

"Their courage and resilience in the face of hardship is awe inspiring", the Senate leader adds, noting that "it is essential that this ceasefire continues and all hostages are released and Israelis and Palestinians live in peace".
