Education Minister Daniel David believes that fiscal-budgetary measures would not have been taken if there was no absolute need

Education Minister Daniel David is calling on employees in the field to understand that solidarity is needed to overcome the crisis the country is in and not to transform different opinions into reactions that affect the image of education. He explained that the temporary fiscal-budgetary measures, which are not in fact the education reform he wants, would not have been taken if there was no absolute need and that they will have to be adjusted once the country emerges from the budget crisis.
Daniel David showed that some of the effects desired by the Government have already occurred: the ECOFIN assessment did not lead to the suspension of European funds and those from the NRRP, and the ratings of rating agencies did not downgrade the country to the "Junk" category, not recommended for investment.
